NOW in its second year, the ALVIERA Sports Program aims to engage 12,000 participants through a diverse calendar of sports events, tournaments, wellness activities, and community-driven experiences across Central Luzon.
The announcement was made during the launch of the third edition of the ALVIERA Racketlon, the flagship multi-racket sports festival featuring tennis, badminton, and pickleball competitions at the Alviera Country Club.
This year’s edition welcomed over 400 players from various clubs and communities across Central Luzon and Metro Manila in celebration of competition, sportsmanship, and community.
Building on the strong momentum of its inaugural year, the ALVIERA Sports Program reinforces the estate’s vision of becoming Central Luzon’s premier destination for sports, wellness, recreation, and community engagement.
“As we enter the second year of the ALVIERA Sports Program and the third year of Alviera Racketlon, we remain committed to growing sports opportunities in the region and creating experiences that bring communities together,” said Rita Cristobal, Marketing Head of Ayala Land.
“Despite today’s economic challenges, we believe that investing in sports, wellness, and meaningful community experiences remains essential in helping people stay active, connected, and inspired.”
Sports and community wellness
This year's calendar will feature a broad lineup of sports and community wellness events, including football competitions, racket sports events, golf tournaments, running races, duathlons, trail runs, fitness activities, and family-oriented sports experiences designed to encourage participation and healthy living.
“Our goal is to continue creating spaces and experiences where people can move, compete, connect, and thrive,” added Cristobal. “The continued growth of the ALVIERA Sports Program reflects our belief that sports can unite communities, inspire healthier lifestyles, and contribute positively to the region’s development.”
Through a year-round lineup of sporting events and activities, ALVIERA aims to further strengthen Central Luzon’s growing sports culture while contributing to tourism and regional development.
At the center of the program is the Alviera Country Club, the estate’s premier lifestyle and wellness hub featuring tennis and badminton courts, a multi-sport court, gym, dance studio, swimming pools, wellness amenities, family recreation spaces, dining outlets, and entertainment facilities. Non-members may also enjoy access to select facilities through day passes, allowing more visitors to experience ALVIERA’s sports offerings.
Beyond the club, ALVIERA’s expansive outdoor venues continue to host a wide range of sports and recreational activities. The New Open Grounds serve as a venue for football, frisbee, running, jogging, and community fitness events, while the Alviera Driving Range welcomes golf enthusiasts for training sessions and tournaments.
Motorsports fans can also experience competitive karting at the City Kart Racing Circuit, while the estate’s bike and nature trails provide a scenic setting for cycling, duathlons, trail runs, and outdoor wellness activities.
