CARLO Paalam just earned a shot at completing unfinished business in the Olympics.
The 25-year-old Filipino scored a unanimous decision against Sachin Siwach of India in the men’s 57 kg class semifinals of the World Olympic Qualification Tournament Saturday night at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand.
Paalam sank to his knees when he was announced the 5-0 winner against his lanky opponent, a former gold medalist in the 2016 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Russia.
