THE SIBOL MLBB squad booked a quarterfinals spot in the 2026 Asian Games Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament after a perfect Group C campaign run, beating Jordan and Kazakhstan on Tuesday at the Aichi Sky Expo.
Starting off with a dominant sweep of Jordan in the afternoon, Sibol wasted little time taking control of Game 1 against Kazakhstan, jumping to a 4-1 lead while securing the first Turtle before quickly snowballing its advantage.

The Philippines stretched the gap to 5-1 with a 2K gold lead just three minutes in, then blew the game wide open at the seven-minute mark after moving ahead, 12-3, with an 8K advantage.
Karl "KarlTzy" Nepomuceno’s Nolan was already at max level by the 8:14 mark as Sibol continued to dictate the pace, eventually closing out the game, 18-5 with 4-1-5 KDA.
Sibol picked up right where it left off in Game 2, jumping to a 2-0 lead behind Nepomuceno’s Paquito and Sanford Vinoya’s Fretta.
The Philippines continued to pile on the pressure, taking the second Turtle to stretch its lead to 6-2 before breaking the game wide open at 11-3 with an 8K gold advantage.
Nepomuceno then ran rampant on Paquito, finishing with a 12-1-5 KDA and a Savage, while Jay Pee Dela Cruz provided the setup on Minotaur with a spotless 0-0-15 KDA.
With Sibol firmly in control from start to finish, the Philippines closed out Game 2, 20-4, to complete the 2-0 sweep of Kazakhstan.
With the clean sweep, Sibol moves on to the quarterfinals, where it will face Group B’s Indonesia in a best-of-three clash tomorrow.
