Robert Bolick finally picked up his scoring with 13 points, going 3-of-4 from threes to help Gilas Pilipinas mount a big lead that reached as high as 21 points in the first half.
The Philippines is eyeing its first victory after bowing to Bahrain, 89-85, on Friday.
In the game against winless teams in Group C, Gilas started with 11 straight baskets, in total contrast to Friday’s game against Bahrain where they gave up eight straight points.
RJ Abarrientos had six points in the first half, followed by Sedrick Barefield with five points for the Phillippines.
