JAKARTA – The Philippines ended its campaign in the 18th Asian Games on Sunday with the mixed triathlon team placing sixth in Palembang.
The team of Claire Adorna, John Chicano, Mark Anthony Hosana and Kim Mangrobang clocked one hour, 39 minutes and eight seconds, finishing 8:29 behind gold medal winner Japan.
The Philippines wound up with four gold, two silver and 15 bronze medals in the Asiad.
The closing ceremony will be held on Sunday at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium with skateboarding gold medalist Margielyn Didal getting the duties as the country’s flag bearer.
China bagged 132 gold, 92 silver and 65 bronze medals to once again take the overall title.
