MANY feel that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson should be in the NBA especially with his recent showing in the Fiba Basketball World Cup.
That includes his PBA counterpart Justin Brownlee, a player that he will be facing again this time in the 19th Asian Games.

Hollis-Jefferson and Brownlee renew their match-up on Saturday, months after they faced each other in the PBA Governors’ Cup finals. In that series, Hollis-Jefferson and TNT overcame Barangay Ginebra in Brownlee’s first finals defeat since being a PBA import.
“He’s an incredible player. I was just telling one of the guys, I don’t see why he is not in the NBA with his talent, with his skill set, he definitely seemed like he should definitely be in the NBA. I don’t know why,” said Brownlee in an interview before Gilas Pilipinas left for Hangzhou for the Asian Games.
“If I’m an NBA owner, I’ll probably definitely give him a job, a contract,” said Brownlee.

Brownlee said facing Hollis-Jefferson in a different stage following the former’s campaign in the Fiba Basketball World Cup where he was one of the top scorers of the entire tournament.
They enter their pivotal clash on Saturday, 5:30 p.m., with both teams sporting 2-0 records. The winner will gain direct qualification to the quarterfinal round.
With Hollis-Jefferson taking charge and fresh from their World Cup campaign, Brownlee said Jordan will definitely be a difficult opponent to overcome.
“Playing against a guy like that, it’s an honor, being in the NBA, one of the top players in the country covering high school and college. It’s an honor to play with a guy like him.”
“It going to be tough. We’re going to have to come out and be prepared. Jordan played fairly well. They had some tough games in the World Cup, but they played fairly well,” said Brownlee.
