HOST Japan and South Korea have all but locked up the two quarterfinals slot in Pool A of the 20th Asian Games basketball competitions on Friday night.
The South Koreans whipped Indonesia, 102-48, while Akatsuki Japan defeated Saudi Arabia, 86-80, in the main game of a quadruple bill at the Aichi International Arena.

The victories put the host team and South Korea in a tie on top of the group on 2-0 (win-loss) records heading to their Sunday showdown.
Lee Hyun-jung scattered 24 points to show the way for the Koreans, who blew Gilas Pilipinas away in a two friendlies in Suwon before heading to the Aichi Prefecture.
The Sokors defeated Saudi Arabia on opening day, 82-66.
Japan, meanwhile, scored a fitting follow up to its 98-53 rout of Indonesia also during the opener.
