JAKARTA – The Philippines wound up in eighth place with another loss to Indonesia, 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 25-20, on Saturday at the close of the 18th Asian Games women’s volleyball tournament at the GOR Bulungan.
Aprilia Santini Manganang had 19 points as Indonesia took seventh place.
Mylene Paat had 10 points, while Alyssa Valdez had nine points for the Philippines.
It was the Philippines’ women’s volleyball team’s first stint in the Asian Games since 1982.
