ARNIS has been included in the UAAP Season 81 calendar.
The Filipino martial art has been listed along with 3x3 basketball, which Far Eastern University introduced last season, as demonstration sports.
"We will have arnis as an exhibition sport, while 3x3 basketball will be back," said UAAP president Nilo Ocampo of host school National University.
NU is also bringing back formation ballroom, which University of Santo Tomas brought in two years ago.
The medal sports remain at 16 this season.
University of Sto. Tomas is gunning for a third straight general championship and 43rd overall.
