PHILIPPINE Army remained unbeaten in three outings, scoring a 25-14, 25-15, 25-15 win over Philippine National Police on Tuesday in the Shakey's V-League Season 10 Open Conference at The Arena in San Juan.
The Lady Troopers were led by young Jovelyn Gonzaga, who had 21 points from 15 spikes, five blocks and one service ace, while veteran Mary Jean Balse contributed 10 markers.
Army is in solo second behind Cagayan, which holds a 4-0 card.
Sangmuang Patcharee came up with 12 points for the Lady Patrolers. PNP, however, remained winless in three games in the tournament.
