    May 6, 2015

THE PHILIPPINE women’s volleyball team formally returns to Southeast Asian Games play on June 10 when they face Indonesia at the OCBC Arena Hall 2 in Singapore.

The Alyssa Valdez-led squad opens its campaign in Group B against Indonesia before taking on Malaysia on June 11 and Vietnam on June 12.

Valdez is the country’s flag-bearer in the opening ceremonies of the SEA Games on June 5. The Philippines will likely send the core of the squad seeing action in the Asian Under-23 Women’s Volleyball Championship.
