    Jordan Clarkson update

COACH Chot Reyes is confident Jordan Clarkson won’t need much time hitting top form and adjusting to the Gilas Pilipinas system even as he misses the China pocket tournament.

The 31-year-old Clarkson is expected to link up with the Philippine basketball team on Aug. 8 and join training for the Fiba Basketball World Cup set to open on Aug. 25.

“Jordan will just meet us there, and then tuluy-tuloy na kaming magpa-practice from the 9th moving forward,” Reyes said on former PBA commissioner Noli Eala’s Power & Play program on Saturday.

“The good thing is he’s not coming in cold, he’s been with us before and knows a little of what we’ve been doing, he knows the guys. Obviously, he still has to familiarize himself with some players na ngayon niya lang makakalaro,” said Reyes.
