Filipino riders face tough task in Clark leg of Asia Supermoto Championship

THE FIM Asia Supermoto Championship Race is holding its first event in the Philippines at the SM Clark in Angeles City, Pampanga.

Kenneth San Andres placed ninth in the qualifiers on Saturday with a time of 57.419 seconds, with Raniel Resuello 12th with 58.557 seconds.

Mohd Habibullah of Malaysia topped the qualifying event with a 55.018-second clocking.

Momoy Flores checked in at 17th with a clocking of 1:03.331 in the competition featuring riders from nince countries including Japan and Malaysia

The earlier rounds were held in Newcastle, Australia in September and Surabaya, Indonesia last month October.

The series ends in in December in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
