    Moto GP's Alvaro Bautista tells aspiring Pinoy moto racers to 'never give up'

    Spain's Alvaro Bautista says it's not easy, but goals can be achieved if moto riders persevere.

    MOTO GP Rider Alvaro Bautista of Spain was in the country recently to meet young motorcycle riders and race fans, giving some advice on safe riding and responsible road usage and inspiration to those who want to pursue a racing career.

    “If you love to ride the bike, you have to do your maximum, to go to the limit, never give up,” Bautista said in an interview with Spin.ph.

    Running sixth in the tough Moto GP World Championship, Bautista told young riders that it is not easy to make it to the top level of motorcycle racing, saying it takes a lot of hard work and determination.

    “It is not easy. But If you want and you try and you fight, maybe you can get it.”

    Bautista, who rides for Go&Fun Honda Gresini, made a quick Manila visit right after placing fifth in the Malaysian leg of the 2013 MotoGP race series.
