MILO Rivera scored his fifth win of the season in the fifth leg of the 2014 Race Motorsports Club Shell Helix National Slalom Series recently at Robinsons Nova Market.
The 18-year-old Toughgear Racing Team driver posted the Production and Overall Best time, clocking 59.08 seconds to beat teammate Noel Rivera, who timed 59.50.
Last year’s national champion Peewee Mendiola of Helix Ultra Team Big Chill was third in 60.86, followed by Estefano Rivera (62.04) and Abet Reyes (62.44).
Mike San Miguel got the best time in the Front Wheel category at 65.28 seconds as Jevoy Moreno clocked 62.36 seconds on non-spec tires and was not qualified for the points system.
Paul Santos of Helix Ultra Team Big Chill had the Novice best time at 65.86 seconds in the meet sanctioned by the Automobile Club of the Philippines.
The sixth leg is set July 20 at Riverbanks Marikina, while the seventh leg will be held on July 27 again at the Robinsons Nova Market.
