VICENTE Luque won in the third round over Niko Price with a doctor’s stoppage in the undercard of UFC 249 on Saturday in Jacksonville, Florida (Sunday, Manila time).
The end came at the 3:37 mark of the third round, with Luque delivering a huge left hook. With Price's right eye swollen shut, the rinsgide physician declared the end of the match and Luque, No. 13 in the UFC welterweight rankings, improved to 18-7-1. Price has a 14-4-0 record.

Seventh in the division, Esparza now has a 16-6-0 record, while No. 8 Waterson holds a 17-7-0 card.
