JENEL Lausa is set to fly the Philippine flag high anew as he makes his second appearance inside the Octagon when he battles unbeaten Russian prospect Magomed Bibulatov in the undercard of UFC 210: Daniel Cormier vs Anthony Johnson at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York on April 8 (April 9, Manila time).
The Filipino flyweight MMA fighter looks to sustain his momentum from an impressive UFC debut when he dominated Yao Zhikui en route to a unanimous decision win last November.
The 28-year-old Lausa is riding high a five-fight win streak after a 2-2 start to his MMA career.
This time, ‘The Demolition Man’ takes on a dangerous foe in UFC newcomer Bibulatov, who has won all 13 of his fights, seven by stoppage, before getting the call-up from the UFC.
Light heavyweight champ Cormier defends his belt in a rematch with top contender Johnson for the main event of the card, while Gegard Mousasi takes on former middleweight king Chris Weidman in the co-main event.
