ONE Championship suspended two of its top striking stars, Kiamran Nabati and Ferrari Fairtex, after they tested positive for banned substances following their bout at ONE Friday Fights 95 in January.
Both men failed drug tests per the regulations of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), which are used by the ONE Anti-Doping Program.
Immediately after the show on January 31, random fighters’ samples were taken and sent to ONE’s anti-doping partner, International Doping Tests & Management, in Sweden, and the two of them eventually got popped.

IDTM is one of the most reputable testing organizations in the world, having worked with some of the biggest leagues like NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, Nascar, the PGA Tour, and LPGA.
Nabati tested positive for drostanolone, modafinil, and meldonium and was handed a one-year suspension by ONE Championship.
Drostanolone is an anabolic steroid, modafinil is a stimulant that could increase concentration and reaction time, while meldonium increases blood flow to the muscles to improve endurance.
It’s a big blow for the Russian fighter who was knocking on the door of a World Title shot after a string of impressive victories.
Ferrari, on the other hand, got busted for heptaminol, a cardiac stimulant that increases blood flow, and octodrine, a central nervous stimulant that improves pain tolerance. The Thai star will be suspended for three months for the infraction.
This string of bans shows ONE’s dedication to fighter safety and promoting a clean sport, and that’s why they’ve been working with the IDTM ever since 2022.
