TEAM Lakay head coach Mark Sangiao claims that Stephen Loman is ready for a fight against One bantamweight champion Fabricio Andrade.
The 44-year-old Sangiao said they have already started preparing while waiting for official word from the MMA promotion.

“They did already announce Stephen is next for the world title shot. We’re just waiting for the go signal. I told Stephen that he needs to prepare because it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We know Stephen’s a proven champion,” he said.
Loman is 3-0 in One Championship and 16-2 in his MMA career. He scored a first-round knockout of Yusup Saadulaev and unanimous decision victories over Shoko Sato and Bibiano Fernandes.
It is expected to be a much tougher bout Against Andrade (9-2) who won the title when John Linker could not continue after four rounds in February.
“We know Andrade’s at the top, and he’s not just some fighter. Of course, if we’re going hard in the gym to prepare for it, I’ll give it a full 100 percent. The most important part right now is getting Stephen ready,” Sangiao said.
“Everything has to be on point for Stephen come the day of the fight itself.”
Sangiao is confident that his fighter has the tools to overcome Andrade.
"Stephen is an exceptional athlete with immense talent and potential,” Sangiao said. “He has been training tirelessly, refining his skills and sharpening his techniques. We are leaving no stone unturned in our preparations for this fight.”
