MARTIN Nguyen has been added in the stacked card at One: Dawn of Heroes in Mall of Asia Arena on Aug, 2 as he defends his featherweight title against Japanese challenger Koyomi Matsushima.
It will be the Vietnamese-Australian's third title defense after scoring a second-round knockout win over Narantungalag Jadambaa in One: Roots of Honor last April in Manila.
The clash between Nguyen (12-3) and Matsushima (11-3) will serve as the night's new main event.
The Manila card will also see top Filipino Eduard Folayang take on former UFC fighter Eddie Alvarez, while Thailand's Rodtang Jitmuangnon challenges Jonathan Haggerty for the One Muay Thai flyweight title.
Also to be held will be the semifinals of the One Flyweight Grand Prix, with former UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson taking on Japan's Tatsumitsu Wada, and Team Lakay's Danny Kingad battling former champion Kairat Akhmetov.
Meanwhile, Honorio Banario has also been tapped as a replacement in the One Lightweight Grand Prix semifinals and will meet Russia's Timofey Nastyukhin.
