MARK Striegl finally makes his UFC debut next month as he faces Said Nurmagomedov at UFC Fight Night: Ortega vs Korean Zombie on October 17 in Abu Dhabi.
The Fil-Am fighter, carrying an 18-2 (1 NC) card, gets his much-awaited chance to enter the Octagon after his initial fight against Timur Valiev last August was cancelled.
Striegl, 32 and a gold medalist in sambo in the 30th Southeast Asian Games, has been on a four-fight win streak, before a no contest against Shunichi Shimizu back in April 2019.
He will make his debut in the promotion in UFC Fight Island in United Arab Emirates.
Nurmagomedov, meanwhile, is the cousin of reigning UFC flyweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The Russian has a 13-2 record, but saw his seven-match win streak snapped after losing via unanimous decision to Raoni Barcelos last December.
