MARK Muñoz seeks to defy height disadvantage anew as he collides with Luke Barnatt in UFC: Fight Night Manila on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The 6-foot Filipino-American mixed martial artist is giving up six inches against his English foe.

But Muñoz is confident against Barnatt as he scored one of his most impressive wins in the Ultimate Fighting Championship against another 6-foot-6 opponent in Kendall Grove, who he knocked out in the second round that earned Fight of the Night honors in UFC 112 in Abu Dhabi last August 2010.

“He’s just like Kendall Grove: long, rangy,” Muñoz said of Barnatt. “He’s very tough and comes forward; he uses his length to his advantage, but I’m going to come in there and he has to stop what I’m bringing.”
