LITO Adiwang was quick to show what he's made of, scoring a first-round technical knockout win over Senzo Ikeda at ONE: Century Sunday at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.
The 26-year-old Team Lakay standout, who is coming off a stellar showing in ONE Warrior Series, came out hot off the gates, taking down his Japanese foe before going for the bulldog choke and locking up Ikeda's right forearm between his legs.
Adiwang's strength was in full display as he denied Ikeda's attempts and led to a bad landing that resulted to the latter fracturing his right forearm.
"I've been dreaming, I've been visualizing about this for a very long time. Finally, it came true. I just needed to put on the work," said Adiwang, while vowing that this is just the start of his ascent in the promotion.
"This is just the beginning for me."
The win improved his record to 10-2 in a solid start for the Filipinos in the Tokyo showpiece.
Ikeda, on the other hand, dropped to a 12-8-1 record.
