LOCAL fight fans get to see top Korean fighters and other international mixed martial arts practitioners in action in Road FC, a Korean mixed martial arts league, on KIX.
Road FC005 – Night of Champions featuring Shungo Oyama against Dennis Kang will be shown on Friday as KIX, the home of combat sports in Asia, expands its MMA program.
KIX also shows fights from tournament-format MMA league Bellator, UK league BAMMA, M-1 and reality MMA show Enfusion Live.
Road FC’s fighters include Asian young guns such as Minowaman (Dream, Japan Champion), Jeff Monson (former UFC fighter), Melvin Manhoef (It’s Showtime), and SooChul Kim (ONE FC Champion).
South Korean comedian Hyung-Bin Yoon recently joined Road FC, winning his first bout against Japanese Takaya Tsukuda in under one minute.
KIX is on channel 63 on Skycable, 122 on Cignal, 10 on Globe Destiny Cable and 55 on Cablelink.
