KEVIN Belingon gets one final shot at redemption as he renews his rivalry against reigning ONE Bantamweight World Champion Bibiano Fernandes at ONE: Century in Tokyo, Japan on October 13.
ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong made the announcement late Sunday night.
This will be the fourth showdown between the two fighters, with their last encounter ending in a disqualification for Belingon after he landed illegal elbows on the back of Fernandes' head in the third round last March at ONE: A New Era at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
That led to Fernandes regaining the bantamweight title for a second time in front of a packed Tokyo crowd.
Both fighters hope that this will be the definitive conclusion of their storied rivalry that has spanned through the past three years.
ONE Heavyweight World Champion Brandon Vera will also be in action in the promotion's 100th event when he challenges Burmese king Aung La N Sang for the ONE Light Heavyweight World Championship.
Angela Lee and Xiong Jingnan cross paths anew, this time with Lee's ONE Women's Atomweight World Championship.
Xiong scored a fifth round technical knockout win to defend her ONE Women's Strawweight Championship back in April.
Sityodtong also announced that the Finals of both the ONE Lightweight and ONE Flyweight World Grand Prixs will be staged in Tokyo, as well as the ONE Kickboxing Featherweight World Grand Prix Finals.
