KEVIN Belingon proved that he's ripe for another shot at longtime division kingpin Bibiano Fernandes as he claimed the ONE interim bantamweight title with a unanimous decision win over Martin Nguyen in 'Reign of Kings' on Friday night.

Not even an accidental low blow and headbutt early in the fight could stop Belingon as he imposed his will on the feet against Nguyen.

By the time the fight ended, all Nguyen can do was congratulate Belingon, knowing that the Team Lakay slugger had chalked up a comfortable decision victory.

"I cant explain this feeling. I am the happiest athlete here tonight," said Belingon who'll now await the recovery of Bibiano Fernandes for the belt unification fight. "I trained hard to get this belt."

Belingon improved to 19-5 as Nguyen dropped to 11-3.
