KEVIN Belingon seeks to pick up from where he left off last year as he flies the Philippine flag in the first staging of Asia's largest mixed martial arts organization this year in Malaysia.

After ending 2013 with a bang with a resounding knockout victory in December, the pride of Ifugao appears in ONE FC: War of Nations on March 14 at the Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur.

This time, the 26-year-old Team Lakay product squares off with Korean Dae Hwan Kim in a bout between bantamweight contenders, with the winner moving a step closer to earning a shot at the belt currently held by Bibiano Fernandes of Brazil.

Belingon knocked out Spaniard David Aranda with a left hook in the first round in ONE FC: Moment of Truth and improved his win-loss record to 12-4.

But Kim definitely won’t be easy pickings as the Korean brawler is still undefeated in nine professional fights.
