JOSHUA Pacio sent his congratulations to Jarred Brooks for a win over Bokang Masunyane via Instagram.
Brooks says he’ll also be sending something to Pacio — a new TV set to replace the Filipino champion's home monitor.
The One strawweight champion posted an Instagram video of him watching Brooks submit Masunyane and congratulating the American for the win.
The 28-year-old Brooks noticed the small screen Pacio had and said he’ll be buying the Filipino a new one from the winnings when they finally clash.
“I just watched his Instagram story congratulating me. He’s a classy guy, but I gotta get that guy some more money [to replace] the TV that he has,” Brooks said. “I’ll buy him a new TV with the money I’ll get from beating him.”

Brooks said that it’s nothing personal – he’s only spicing things up.
“I go against classy nice guys all the time; I’m a nice classy guy. But you have to bring stuff out of [your opponents], and I think I’ve already brought stuff out of Josh that he isn’t used to,” Brooks said.
“[I did it to] Bokang as well. During our interview with Michael Schiavello, he said he wanted to beat my ‘behind,’ which is kind of funny.”
“Hats off to Bokang. It sucks beating someone like him. He’s a good dude. Deep down inside he’s a good dude,” he continued.
“Joshua Pacio probably is [a good dude] too, but I got to go on and make my dues and get belts in this division.”
