EDUARD Folayang looked as good as ever as he dominated the ersrwhile unbeaten Aziz Pahrudinov in the main card of ONE: Reign of Kings on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The former Lightweight champion utilized his advantage on the feet, chomping away on his bigger Russian foe with thunderous leg kicks.
Though Pahrudinov got Folayang down a couple of times, the Filipino MMA hero showed great composure on the ground, neutralizing the Russian from his back en route to a comfortable unanimous decision victory.
Folayang improved to 20-6 as Pahrudinov dropped to 20-1.
In other bouts, Gary Tonnon took a while to finish off Rahul Raju but got his submission win nonetheless, winning by rear naked choke in the third round.
Raju showed excellent submission defense and even had his moments on the feet but eventually succumbed in the 3:27 mark of the third round.
Meanwhile, Chris Ngimbi scored a close split decision victory over Armen Petrosyan in their kickboxing match while Panicos Yusuf came away with a unanimous decision win over Han Zi Zao in a three-round Muay Thai affair.
