FOR Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos, the rancor is gone.
The two controversial actors hugged it out inside the octagon after fighting to a unanimous draw in a one-off mixed martial arts fight on Saturday night that most fans felt failed to live up to the pre-fight hype.
This time, Geisler and Matos, who fought inside a bar and later had several clashes in the run-up to the URCC Fight Night face-off, said they were sincere in settling their differences.
"Okay na. Nakita nyo naman sa ring, wala na," said Geisler. "Tanggal na ‘yung yabang, tanggal na ‘yung pride."
Matos, for his part, insisted the hug was genuine, even going as far as say that he loved Geisler.
"Wala na po," said Matos. "Nung yinakap ko siya, totoo. Totoo rin ‘yung yakap ni Baron."
"Mahal ko siya. Wala ng bigwasan," added Matos.
Geisler said he has come to respect Matos after the fight.
"I believe we respect each other as actors and as human beings. So congratulations kay Kiko," Geisler said.
Asked if he is willing to have a drink with Matos, Geisler responded: "Kung papayagan ako ng coaches ko. They don’t want me kasi to break my vow. Baka takasan ko na lang sila."
Matos said he is also willing to do the same.
"Poprotektahan ko siya," Matos said.
