FILIPINO-American striking star Sean "The One" Climaco is expecting an explosive showdown when he returns to the ONE Championship ring in less than two weeks.
Climaco faces Akif "King" Guluzada in a flyweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Fight Night 31: Kongthoranee vs. Nong-O II on May 3 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Facing a young, hungry Guluzada who broke into the main roster after winning a US$100,000 contract in the ONE Friday Fights circuit, the 30-year-old is expecting nothing less from his upcoming opponent.

He believes their styles fit each other and should create an interesting clash for fans tuning into the show.
"I see he's an explosive fighter. He likes to go for the finish. He's young and hungry, which excites me right there," Climaco said.
"I think it makes it more of an exciting fight for the fans. And, with fighting guys like that, I think getting a finish is easier and just more of an exciting fight for me and the fans."
Ultimately, Climaco believes the difference in this fight will be the power in his hands, evident in his knockout win over Josue Cruz and that exciting showdown with Johan Estupinan where they traded knockdowns.
"My main advantage, I feel like, is gonna be the power. I don't think he's tasted the power that I have in my hand," Climaco said while expecting Guluzada to come out surprised with his style and power.
"I always say in every fight, I'm a different fighter than everyone that all my opponents face until they face me.
"A lot of times, I feel like guys can't trade with me. They can't really prepare for me unless they've been in there with me before."
