NEW ONE lightweight champion Eduard Folayang and three-time world wushu champion Divine Wally were given a heroes welcome by Baguio City officials last week in honor of their accomplishments.

Folayang, wearing the traditional bahag, and his cousin Wally were feted in a parade around the country's summer capital that began in Luneta Hill at SM Baguio and ended at the Baguio City Hall.

Folayang recently won the ONE title via a third round referee stoppage over Shinya Aoki of Japan in a stunning upset in ONE: Defending Honor in Singapore.

Meanwhile, Wally captured a gold medal in the Asian Wushu Championship last September.

A float with a mock ONE lightweight title belt attached to it travelled around the city where Folayang and Wally were warmly received by their fellow Baguio City natives.

A short program followed inside the City Hall where Baguio City mayor Mauricio Domogan formally welcomed thanked Folayang and Wally for bringing honor to their hometown.
