DANNY Kingad will have a new foe for his ONE Flyweight Grand Prix semifinals bout this August at ONE: Dawn of Heroes.
The Team Lakay bet will now face Aussie challenger Reece McLaren, who is coming in for the injured Kairat Akhmetov.
ONE Championship announced the change on Monday.
Kingad (10-1) is riding on a five-match win streak, his last of which being a unanimous decision victory over Senzo Ikeda in the Grand Prix quarterfinals last March.
Meanwhile, McLaren (12-6) is looking to make the most of his second chance after bowing to Akhmetov via unanimous decision last March.
He's stepping on for the Kazakh, who hurt his calf in the buildup for the fight.
The winner of the match will face the victor of the showdown between Demetrious Johnson and Tatsumitsu Wada in the Flyweight Grand Prix Finals.
