ANDERSON Silva got back on the win column after five years, outpointing Derek Brunson on Saturday in the co-main event of UFC 208 on Saturday in Brooklyn, New York (Sunday, Manila time).

The former middleweight champion, whose win over Nick Diaz in 2015 was overturned after a failed drug test, got back on track with an impressive win in the fight at 185 pounds.

Silva got the nod from all three judges 30-27, 29-28, 29-28.

Silva won by technical knockout over Stephan Bonnar in 2012 before back-to-back losses to Chris Weidman, and the win over Diaz that was overturned and declared a no-contest.

He later bowed to Michael Bisping and Danier Cormier.

The 41-year-old Silva now has 34 wins against eight losses in his career.

Germaine de Randamie of the Netherlands won the women's featherweight championship against Holly Holm by unanimous decision in the co-headliner.
