As much as we like to take a proper bath or grab a quick shower after an intense workout, there are too many factors that can get in the way of good hygiene. There's the rush hour traffic, last-minute venue changes, and, most notably, jam-packed post-workout commitments, from hump-day hangouts to Fri-dates.

However, that doesn't mean you have to head to that romantic date or barkada hangout looking hulas or dugyot. Here are five ways to clean up post-exercise-if showering isn't an option.

Towel on and off

Moisture usually leads to odor, so prevent that sticky feeling and odor build-up by staying dry-not only after training but also in between sets. Paper towels prove to be too wasteful, which is why that trusty cotton towel will come in handy to wipe down the body, especially those armpits.

Deo up and down again

There are times when the initial application of antiperspirant in the morning may not last until your gym session after work. So, before the burpees and lunges, swipe on more deo to keep you protected. Some variants can be reapplied, from deodorant sticks and sprays, depending on the user's preference. Do this to freshen up and keep the funk from developing.

Turn bad to good breath

No matter how sweet-smelling and good-looking a person is, if it stinks every time he opens his mouth, it's going to end up being the ultimate turnoff. The options for a quick breath refresh are as varied as your WOD: brushing, flossing, gargling, and chewing (gum).

Un-dry with dry shampoo

One of the most time-consuming tasks after taking a shower is washing and drying one's hair. Dry shampoos are the super-quick fix: They soak up excess grease while leaving your crown fresh. This is almost as effective as the regular kind, only handier.

Use Master Oil Control Max

Gone are the days when washing your face with soap and water is enough. After a hardcore workout that leaves you soaking in sweat, bring back that freshness with facial wash. Choose a facial cleanser that washes off the sweat, dirt, and grime like Master Oil Control Max, which instantly removes 95% of the oil.

Master Oil Control Max has Zeroil that helps control oil for up to eight hours, Menthol that instantly cools, and Anti-Bac that fights dirt and pimples. Follow Master Philippines on Facebook to know more about it.
