    #BeComplete: Multiple Tips for Multitaskers

    WE live in a fast-paced world. Technology has allowed us to do things faster and more efficiently. And thanks to technology, we’ve all mastered the art of multitasking. But sometimes, because of our ability to multitask, we find ourselves drowning in all of the things we try to fit into our to-do list — sometimes, it’s just impossible to keep up and fail to finish strong.

    Fret not! We’re here to help. Here are some tips on how to get the most out of your day with multitasking.

    1. Prioritize

    Do more difficult tasks, or tasks with closer deadlines first. Or get easy tasks done first before taking on more difficult, time-consuming tasks. It’s really just a matter of prioritizing.

    2. Set deadlines for your tasks

    There are a lot of things that can distract you from your tasks — you’ve got Facebook, YouTube, and whatnot. Setting deadlines for your tasks allow for you to gauge whether or not you’re still within bounds of productivity.

    3. Know when you work best

    Are you a morning person? Get up early and get tasks done and over with as soon as you can. Do you work best in the afternoon? Get all your extra stuff, like exercising, or cleaning the house done in the morning, and do your work in the afternoon. Are you an evening person? You know the jig.

    4.  Plan

    Plan everything out. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with all your pending tasks. Write every task down and see which ones need to get done first. You’ll see, if you do plan your workflow out, that things aren’t so bad.

    5. Leave room for relaxation

    Don’t be a workaholic, please. As the old saying goes, “all work and no play makes (your name here) a dull boy.” After a long workday, relax your mind — play a video game, watch a movie, lay in your bathtub, or whatever. Relaxation gives you a sense of accomplishment and preps you up for the next day.
