HOLLYWOOD – Manny Pacquiao took things easy on Easter.

The boxing superstar from the Philippines found time to relax on Sunday following a rigorous week that saw him work out and spar on Lenten season.

Pacquiao spent the morning attending church services along with wife Jinkee, their children, and some members of his entourage before proceeding to their favorite Japanese restaurant ‘Kabuki’ along Vine Street for a sumptuous lunch.

“Rest day muna. Family naman,” said the 37-year-old ring great, who is now in his final week of training for his April 9 (April 10, Manila time) fight against Timothy Bradley at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

For the rest of the day, Pacquiao just stayed at his mansion in Plymouth Boulevard and played chess.

Only a few visitors were allowed inside the house, including the group of former PBA MVP Kenneth Duremdes and Zaldy Realubit, as the eight-time world boxing champion wanted to limit the number of guests coming over.

“Lights out agad si Boss, eh,” said longtime Pacquiao security Jimmy Zunio.
