MANNY Pacquiao still remains a sought-after product endorser.
The boxing superstar just signed a new deal with China-based sportswear Anta, making him the latest global ambassador of the popular sports product.
The 37-year-old Pacquiao has been a well-known endorser of Nike for years until the American shoes and apparel giant cut ties in the aftermath of the boxer’s controversial remark on same-sex marriage.
Pacquiao himself posted on his Instagram account a photo of him officially joining the Anta family, which also has for endorsers NBA stars Rajon Rondo, Klay Thompson, Chandler Parsons, and fellow boxer, two-time Olympic gold medalist Zou Shiming.
The deal with Anta came days before Pacquiao makes his comeback from retirement and challenges reigning champion Jessie Vargas for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title on Sunday (Manila time) at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Shiming will also see action in the undercard as he vies for another shot at a first world title against Prasitsak Papoem for the vacant WBO flyweight crown.
