GATORADE Philippines ushered its new look by launching its latest logo.
The new emblem was unveiled Monday night at the Gatorade Hoops Center in Mandaluyong City and featured a bold G logo with the usual thunderbolt. The bold G logo is a representation of the heart, hustle, and soul of modern-day athletes.
The change in logo was done across all brands of Gatorade worldwide.
Mikey Rosales, senior product manager for Gatorade Philippines, said their product will continue to bring the benefits needed by all athletes.
“Gatorade will continue to deliver the scientifically proven hydration and performance benefits that the brand is built on while using the new and dynamic global visual identity,” said Rosales.
The G-Elite and G Rising Stars squad were also presented, whose members will be the center of their promotional campaigns across all advertising mediums.
The G-Elite is composed of PBA stars LA Tenorio and Calvin Abueva, Philippine Azkals members Phil Younghusband and James Younghusband, and triathlete Ani De Leon-Brown.
The G Rising Stars on the other hand, are composed of UAAP cagers Juami Tiongson of Ateneo, Jeric Teng of University of Santo Tomas, Emmanuel Mbe of National University, RR Garcia of Far Eastern University, Jericho Cruz of Adamson, and Henri Asilum of University of the Philippines.
The G Rising Stars also include volleybelles Abi Marano and Mika Reyes of La Salle, and Alyssa Valdez and Dennise Lazaro of Ateneo, and triathlete Nikko Huelgas.
