VOLLEYBALL star Rachel Anne Daquis will appear as the cover girl of the October 2014 issue of FHM Philippines.
The 26-year old athlete’s appearance was formally announced by the popular men’s magazine on Friday. FHM also released a teaser video in its website as part of its "FHM Cover Girl Guessing Game."
Daquis, who graduated from the Far Eastern University, led the FEU Lady Tamaraws as team captain to one championship and three finals appearances in the UAAP which earned her the accolade "Queen Tamaraw."
After graduating with a Business Management degree, Daquis continues to be a force in the country’s top volleyball leagues where her teams have consistently competed and her role garnering her multiple Most Valuable Player awards.
The 5’10” outside hitter was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is currently a member of the Philippine Army Lady Troopers - the three-time Philippine Super Liga champions - a guest player of the Shakey’s V League back-back champions FEU Lady Tamaraws.
Copies of the FHM October issue will be available in bookstores and newsstands starting on Monday, September 29.
