MORE than five months after Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s untimely death in a helicopter crash in California, Vanessa Bryant paid tribute to her late husband on Instagram.
“Happy Father's Day to the BEST daddy in the world. We miss you so much. We love you forever and always. Love, Nani, Gigi, BB, Koko and VB,” she wrote on her Instagram account.
Her account has been set to private since mid-June, in part as a way to cope with the death of both her husband and her child.
Father’s Day weekend was a dual celebration of the Bryant family. Before Father’s Day on Sunday, the family also celebrated the first birthday of their youngest, Capri.
Vanessa revealed that Capri’s full name is Capri Kobe Bryant as she posted videos of a small birthday party.
She wrote on Instagram: “Happy 1st Birthday Capri! Mommy, Daddy, Nani, Gigi and BB love you SO much!!! God Bless you sweet princess. Capri Kobe Bryant a.k.a. 'Koko-Bean' named after her dearly missed daddy, Kobe Bean Bryant. We miss you SO much Gigi and Daddy."
