A healthy body and a healthy economy.
That in essence are the wishes of San Miguel Corporation (SMC) President and CEO Ramon S. Ang for the year 2024.
In a 10-minute video hosted by Barangay Ginebra star Scottie Thompson and San Miguel Beer big man Rodney Brondial, Ang hopes for Filipinos to be healthy as the new year dawned upon us, and at the same time, looks forward to a robust economy in order to boost expansion and create more jobs for the country.
RSA: 'Health is wealth'
“Health is wealth. It’s the most important thing in life,” Ang replied when asked what his New Year resolution is straight from his office in Ortigas Center.
The video also featured some of the subsidiaries under the SMC Ecosystem such as the San Miguel Foods, represented by production supervisor Ma. Czarina De Luna and SMC Infrastructure with interviews from toll teller July Ann Omagap.
SMC's special projects
Special projects of the San Miguel Foundation led by program associate Mark Rowell Rebucan such as the Better World Center in Smokey Mountain were also shown, ditto with SMC River Cleanup in San Juan and Bulacan supervised by foreman Ronnie Campo.
In parting, Ang wishes a prosperous 2024 to the entire Filipino people.
