FOR Magnolia star Paul Lee, there’s nothing more he could ask for - the Hotshots are back in the finals of the PBA Philippine Cup and his family is happy and healthy.
If there’s one person the 30-year old combo guard can credit all his luck to, it’s his six-month old baby, Tokyo.
For him, ever since he and his wife, Rubie, were blessed with their bundle of joy, their lives couldn’t be any happier.
“Of course, sobrang siya talaga ang lucky charm sa family ngayon simula noong dumating siya sobrang daming blessings na dumating so sobrang thankful ako,” said Lee.
“Very healthy ‘yung baby ko tapos sobrang ok din ‘yung career ko, maganda ang tinatakbo ng team, kaya at the end of the day masaya ako,” he added.
From being the ‘Angas ng Tondo’, Lee turned into a doting father to little Tokyo.
“Before binata ka or may girlfriend ka, sarili mo lang ‘yung iniisip mo eh. Ngayon may baby ka na, may pamilya ka na so lahat ng ginagawa mo is for them na,” he said.
When asked what changed after having a daughter, Lee was quick to answer.
He stressed that now that he has his own family, he’s more mature, more responsible and he hopes to be an example to Tokyo.
“Iba eh, mag-iiba talaga ‘yung pananaw mo sa buhay kapag nagkaroon ka na ng baby, mag-iiba ‘yung priorities mo sa buhay kaya mas magiging mature ka pa. ‘Yung decision making mo maiiba,” he said.
“I think that’s natural so saludo ako sa lahat ng magulang na nagagampanan nila ang role nila as parents,” he added.
