PLAYING alongside a world champion is definitely a dream come true for any athlete out there.

How about two?

Filipino tennis prodigy Miko Eala (the older brother of Alex) was spotted playing the practice game of his life, exchanging bounces with former World No. 1 Carlos Moya... and was that Rafa Nadal?

In a recent Instagram upload posted by the official page of the Rafa Nadal Academy in Mallorca, Spain, on Wednesday night, 17-year-old Eala was seen hitting rackets side by side with Moya. Netizens, meanwhile, tried to guess who was on the other side of the net.

"Miko Eala, wow does it feel to play with a former number 1 of the world? Can you guess who is playing on the other side of the net?" asked the post.

Judging from the sound of those iconic grunts, could it have been Nadal himself? Commenters on the post seemed to think so.

(UPDATE, 2:30 p.m., 12 December): Eala confirmed Thursday afternoon (Manila time), that it was indeed Nadal from the opposite side of the court.

"Thank you to my Rafa Nadal Academy Family for the memorable send off by allowing me to share the court with former world no. 1, Carlos Moya and the GOAT(Greatest Of All Time) Rafa on the other side. It’s been an unbelievable 3-year experience! Vamossss," he said in a Facebook post.

It was definitely a practice game for the books, and a fair send-off as well.
