VTUBERS! They’re everywhere!
It seems this rising trend of streamers and content creators creating an anime avatar is making a lot of waves especially with notable names like IronMouse and Gawr Gura invading the internet.
Through their cuddly vibes and their unique streaming personas, vtubers are now the new rockstars in the content sphere.
And recently one of them has even contacted one of the greatest boxers of all time, the Filipino powerhouse, Manny Pacquiao.
As of now Pacquiao is training intensively for his comeback bout vs. Sonny Barrios, but he does have some free time to chill around and even hangout with a vtuber named Filian.
Manny isn't nervous facing Barrios
Filian was starstrucked to see Manny inside his stream and he even challenged the Filipino legend into a string of games.
First was chess in which Manny simply showed his supremacy over the vtuber. But it didn’t just end there as Filian even slugged it out in an online robot bottle.
The end result produced a wholesome affair between these two individuals in which Manny learned a lot about the world of vtubing.
In return Filian got a chance to ask Manny regarding his daily routine in preparation against Barrios.
Before he enters the ring, Pacquiao would spend more than two months getting in fighting shape and part of the preparations is to mentally psych himself.
Is Pacquiao nervous for his upcoming bout? Here’s what he revealed to Filian.
“I’m not scared, I’m excited.”
While the battle against Filian was a lighthearted endeavor, his upcoming clash vs. Barrios will prove to be the opposite. Manny Pacquiao will be facing his Mexican-American rival this July 19, 2025 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
