IT goes for all athletes. Packing their bag with all the right gear and extras is essential, what with competitions and events literally lasting an entire day.
For Kristine Hammond—celebrity, athlete, and student of Colegio de San Agustin-Biñan—having a snack inside her bag is a must. The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate also stuffs her bag with an extra jersey, warmers, spare shirts, extra shoes, make-up, wallet, watch, and a power bank.
Take the opening day of the Philippine Superliga’s inaugural Collegiate Grand Slam, held last November 3 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City. Hammond told SPIN.ph then, “Katulad ngayon, ang game namin two o’clock pero ang call time namin seven a.m. So, di ba ang haba ng period? So pag nagugutom talaga kami ng team, laging may dalang pagkain.”
And take note: Hammond and the Eagles recorded four losses in the early part of the competition, but finished the Collegiate Grand Slam with a big win over UAAP team Far Eastern University.
