TATTOOS often become the reflection of one’s attitude and character especially with the choice of design permanently inked on someone’s body.
For Magnolia point guard Jio Jalalon, his tattoo doesn’t only reflect his personality, but also mirrors how important his family is to him and how he cherishes and loves them.
The former Arellano University star shared to SPIN Life the reason behind the new tattoo on his left arm when we caught up with him on Wednesday, after their 109-83 win over Columbian Dyip at the Araneta Coliseum.
“Kasi nakatatak dito lahat ‘yung sa baby ko, y’ung sa family ko, halos lahat,” he said.
Jalalon is now a father to baby Jiana Skyla, whose face is imprinted on his left arm.
The year 2018 was bountiful for the Hotshots star as he got engaged with fiancé Kristina and became a father to his firstborn.
Jalalon’s Instagram account is full of his family’s photos and videos, visibly saying that the tough guy on court is a softie when it comes to the people that he loves.
He said that the tattoo is still a bit new as he only added it this year.
When asked if he would still add new ink on his body, the former Chiefs superstar said with a smile, “Wala na.”
