NOT only do they have a close on-court connection as former teammates in the Gin Kings, but Japeth Aguilar and Greg Slaughter coincidentally became first-time fathers on the same day: the lucky date '02-02-2022.'
Beauty queen Cassy Naidas-Aguilar, wife of Japeth, shared a lovely photo of their newborn son, Jasiah Matthias.
"He’s the most beautiful person we’ve ever seen but we’re probably a little biased. After months of treatments, scares and bedrest, I’m so glad to meet my little boy. Up until the last minute, there were no dull moments. So grateful to God for a safe delivery and a healthy baby boy," she wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, NorthPort star Greg Slaughter welcomed his first baby girl, Stelina.
"Thank you @schininaslaughter for giving me the best blessing of my life. I’m so happy you’re here, Stelina," he said.
