Filipino professional esports player Marius Tan, aka Donut, has captivated the Khmer nation with his charm and badass play mechanics, especially since he led his team, Burn x Flash, to its second MPL Cambodia Championship, and represented Cambodia in the MLBB Southeast Asia Cup 2023 tournament.
Ever since Donut moved to Cambodia, his follower count on Facebook has steadily increased. Just like in the Philippines, Facebook is the most popular social media in Cambodia. But it’s not just Donut’s follower count that has been increasing lately—also brands that love to be endorsed by the fresh-faced gunner of Burn x Flash.
Take a look at some of Donut’s official brand endorsement photos—from skincare to sneakers, all these brands just love Donut, Cambodia’s esports hero and heartthrob.
Donut x ABA Bank

Although this is a team endorsement for ABA Bank, Donut’s own post of the endorsement of the bank generated the most engagement on social media compared to his teammates. ABA Bank is Cambodia's largest commercial bank in terms of assets, deposits, loans, and profitability.
Donut x Texas Chicken

Another team endorsement, Donut’s post on Texas Chicken generated 26,000 reactions, the highest in Burn x Flash. Seen in this photo is Donut with his teammate Chma.
Donut x Purera Skincare

Headquartered in Cambodia, Purera (pronounced “pyur-ra”) is a sunscreen brand marketed as Korean-manufactured.
Donut x PEDRO

Pedro is a Singapore-based company focused on classic fashion, whose designs are “effortless with a twist, essential with a hint.” The brand is a subsidiary of the Charles & Keith Group. This particular endorsement by Donut showcases Pedro’s Disney Collection, featuring Toy Story’s “Little green Men.” Seen here is Pedro’s Disney Andy Backpack which costs $140 or roughly P7,650 and the Disney Hybrix Sneakers which costs $120 or roughly P6,560.
Donut x KeSor Natural Scrub

KeSor Scrub is a product of Cambodia meant to be used on skin for exfoliation. According to its official page, KeSor contains vitamins that keep the skin healthy, smooth, and supple. Donut’s endorsement of KeSor also garnered the most engagement on KeSor’s Facebook page.
Donut x Oppo A78

The Oppo A78 is the first of Donut’s smartphone endorsements in Cambodia. The Oppo A78 runs on a 700-nanometer Mediatek Dimensity chipset. Marketed as a mid-range smartphone, the Oppo A78 is priced at around P15,000.
Donut x Vivo Y36

Running on a Snapdragon 680 chipset, you can expect relatively smoother gameplay on the Vivo Y36 compared to its Oppo counterpart. The Y36 is priced at roughly P13,000.
Donut and His Cambodian Fans

With Donut’s popularity in Cambodia, we can expect that the Filipino goldlaner will have more brand endorsements to come.
The 20-year-old goldlaner is a homegrown former talent of AP Esports and was recruited by Nexplay EVOS to play in the MPL Philippines Season 9 in 2022. After leaving Nexplay in Season 10, he was quickly snapped up by Cambodia’s Burn x Flash, becoming the team’s second Filipino import after Coach Mitch. Burn x Flash was previously coached by another Filipino, John Michael Dizon, aka Coach Zico, who was responsible for delivering the team’s first-ever MPL Cambodia Championship in 2022.
