IF there ever was a ‘multi-tasking’ award, CJ Perez without a doubt would be a frontrunner in it too.
The San Miguel guard, who is still on cloud nine over his 48th PBA Commissioner’s Cup Best Player of the Conference award, is a man in action even at home, his wife, Sienna, reveals.
Despite a packed schedule juggling SMB, Gilas Pilipinas, and his other career endeavors, Sienna bares the 30-year-old never fails to show up for their two daughters, even for small school events.
“Magmula Gilas, SEA Games, World Cup, Asian Games, the past few months talaga sobrang busy niya, pero tuwing may time siya, he’s making up for it,” Mrs. Perez shares with SPIN.ph.

"‘Yung mga milestones ng mga anak namin, kahit sasaglit lang siya, example Christmas presentation sa school, mine-make sure niya nandon siya."
CJ also summons the guts to ask his coaches for a little consideration arriving in practice a few minutes late so he could be present for his family.
“Magpapaalam si CJ na male-late ng 30 minutes sa practice para maka-attend ng graduations, other events sa school. Tapos ‘pag break or day off nila, bumabawi, ilalabas ang kids, out of town kahit maikli,” she said.
While being able to do it all for his family and career is his biggest glory, winning awards is a bonus for the man whose love language is ‘positive affirmation’.
“He’s been consistent, and for the past conferences, lagi siyang bridesmaid sa BPC, never the bride, ngayon, nakuha na niya, nakakaproud.
"Pero si CJ kasi, never niya naging goal 'yung individual awards kasi team sport para sa kanya ang basketball,” Mrs. Perez said. “Pero I’m sure magbibigay ng confidence sa kanya to, to work harder for the championship.”
